Applications for the 2013 REU are now being accepted.
Application and Eligibility
The program is open to undergraduate students majoring in civil engineering, geosciences, ecology, mathematics, or related fields. We encourage applications from students who have been historically under-represented in their discipline and from first-generation college students. The program provides transportation, food, and housing plus a stipend to all participants.
All materials are to be submitted to ncedreu@gmail.com and must include [NCED REU 2013] in the subject line.
To complete your application, you must submit the following:
- REU SLAWR 2013 application
- A Letter of Recommendation Form for each signed letter of recommendation (2-3 required), with the letter submitted by the writer via fax, email or post.
- An unofficial transcript at time of application, with an official transcript upon request (PDF transcripts sent via email are preferred; however, they may be faxed or mailed as well. See the letter of recommendation form above for fax and mailing address)
